Much to my chagrin there haven't been any posts made on here about Agent Carter, which, to put it mildly, is shameful. While the ratings have been low, it's sort of a niche show, the quality of the show cannot be argued. I've found a few notable quotes about the series, with links to the full article included.
"My favorite scene of the series so far was one that juxtaposed a Captain America radio show where he smacks around Nazis to save a damsel, with an action scene that had Carter kicking a beating the crap out of a bad guy thug up and down a room. The point is clear, and it’s part of what makes Carter a great character." [x]
"Another advantage is the fact Agent Carter is driven by a single character, as opposed to a whole team." [x]
"She's as convincing wielding a crisp insult as an improvised blade, conveying the control and deftness Carter requires to run a covert operation under the patronizing gaze of her inferior superiors in the SSR boys' club." [x]
There's a lot more out there, but if you'd like to check it out for yourself it can be found in the OnDemand of your cable provider or on the ABC streaming website.
